The first thing that caught my eye about the Ocean Bottle 750ml is the fact that every bottle funds the collection of 1,000 plastic bottles from coastal communities.
Then I spotted the NFC Smart Chip, which allows users to track refills and help collect even more plastic over time. It's not something you come across every day, and it gives the bottle an extra layer of interest.
There are plenty of thoughtful details like the dual opening; it makes filling the bottle, adding ice and cleaning it much easier than many standard designs. The anti-leak lid helps keep everything securely contained, while the integrated carry loop is one of those simple features that just makes sense. Nothing feels overcomplicated, it all seems designed around how people actually use a bottle day to day.
Made from 70% recycled stainless steel, 10% PET plastic, 10% recycled PET plastic and 10% silicone plastic, the Ocean Bottle keeps drinks hot for up to 6 hours and cold for up to 18 hours thanks to its double wall vacuum insulation. It's BPA-free, dishwasher safe and supplied in a responsibly sourced recycled cardboard gift box.
The laser engraved branding complements the premium finish nicely, but for me it's the combination of clever design, quality materials and the plastic collection initiative that makes this bottle particularly interesting.
