For 3rd Year Running!

Well it’s that time of the year again, the Envoy catalogue launch which includes an award ceremony for distributor of the year. As I’m sure you know by now, each year has a particular theme and everyone enjoys donning their fancy dress and having a good time. None more so than the Pellacraft ladies! This year’s theme was the Wild West. As you can see by the picture the Pellacraft gals did themselves proud. After attempting to survive the bucking bronco (a sight you had to see to believe), Sam had to then endure being a knife throwers assistant. Thankfully she survived, but unfortunately whenever drinks she leaks like a burst hose pipe! Pellacraft was chasing the Distributor of the Year award for the third year in a row, and although the competition was tough we can gladly say WE DID IT! We, of course couldn’t have done it without our wonderful customers so THANK YOU all very much, you are fabulous. So here’s to another year of hard work. Ok everyone get ready to loosen those belt buckles! It’s Children In Need 2011 and this year we decided to bake cakes. Everyone made something different and gave money to Children in Need. Everything from ginger bread, flap jacks, chocolate cake, sponge cake and much more. With a prize for the best one, everyone tried to come up with something different, the pressure is on – who will win? Pellacraft Win Envoy Distributor Of The Year 2010/11

How time flies. Here we are again one year later and as is customary the glamorous Pellacraft gals attended another Envoy catalogue launch which also included an award ceremony for Distributor of the year and again Pellacraft came away with the goods! This year the Envoy launch was held in Nottingham and the theme was a 1920s Murder Mystery. Once again the Pellacraft ladies outdid themselves in the costume department, dressing up in classy Flapper outfits with full accessories. Details are sketchy but rumour has it they were well behaved (?) and a credit to the company. We in the office though like to think that after a few glasses of wine they attempted the Charleston dance and then started a Bugsy Malone style pie fight. The highlight of the evening was the award ceremony in which Pellacraft won the Envoy Distributor of the Year Award 2010/11 for the second year running! We, of course couldn’t have done it without our wonderful customers so THANK YOU all very much, you are fabulous. It's nice to know that everyone's hard work and dedication over the last year has been recognised and we're glad we tells ya, glad! So here is to another year of extra hard work. I even made my purchasing decision because a particular promo item reminds me of a company offering something I was looking for. Of course, you could try to use the commonly used logo-on-a-pen, but I don’t think you will have a good return on your investment. Yay Us!

This years Envoy catalogue launch was held for distributors and suppliers at the National Space Centre in Leicester. Along with the catalogue launch was the award ceremony for Distributor and Supplier of the year. And with the location having an out of this world theme, it was only fitting that everyone have a bit of fun by having a fancy dress contest too. The Pellacraft girls went all out on their costumes, really getting into the spirit of things and looking fantastic as three sexy green sirens. The fancy dress competition was fiercely fought, with the crew of the Enterprise, most of the Star Wars characters including Luke Skywalker and Yoda and even Super Girl making an appearance. Dinner was an interesting experience for our Pellacraft girls as they shared a table with Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Yoda and a Storm Trooper (we can only imagine what the conversation was like). Unfortunately they didn’t want their pictures shown on the website, so we have an artist’s impression (left) of what they looked like. Alas though they didn't win. They were soon able to celebrate however when Pellacraft won the Envoy Distributor of the Year 2009/10 award. The culmination of a year’s hard work and dedication by everyone involved, especially during these financially hard times.
